HUNGARY

Shops are open all week except for holidays when all the larger shops are closed, only small shops are open. Special offer leaflets are usually valid from Thursday to Wednesday.

CREDIT CARDS:
All common cards such as MasterCard and Visa are accepted in Hungary.

CUSTOMER CARDS:
Some chains have integrated systems for the collection of customer benefits, so in a shop you can ask if your customer card is accepted (eg. you can collect points at drugstore DM with the Czech card in foreign countries that have “DM program Active beauty World of advantages” - Austria, Slovakia, Hungary. But it is not possible to choose an advantage abroad, it is possible only in the country where the card was issued).

USING HIGHWAYS, VIGNETTE:
Highways in Hungary are charged. It is possible to purchase the following vignettes: annual 42,980 forints (about € 137), monthly 4,780 forints (about € 15), ten-day 2,975 forints (about € 9.5).
